Treatment policy
O & A Group Limited, trading as Wellbeing Thai Massage by Orn & Anne, are professional, qualified and highly trained Thai massage therapists. We will, in consultation with you, adapt treatments to suit your specific needs on the day. It is important to inform your therapist, before each session, of any changes to your body and health and any changes you would like to your treatments.
By receiving treatment, you accept and understand that the services provided by Wellbeing Thai Massage are not a substitute for medical care and any information provided by the massage therapists are for educational purposes only.
Provision of client information prior to treatment
We at Wellbeing Thai Massage wish you to receive the best possible benefits from your treatments. For us to work in synergy with you, it is important that we learn a little bit about your medical history and what you wish to gain from your treatments. All information is kept strictly confidential and obtained only for the purpose of safety for you in the treatments we offer. Please arrive ten minutes early for your first appointment in order to complete our customer information form, alternatively you may request a digital form to be completed prior to your session.
Client and therapist conduct
For the safety and comfort of our therapists, underwear must be worn at all times, throughout your massage.
Do not cause offense by requesting any sexual services. The session will be cancelled and you will be required to leave the premises immediately if there is any harassment either physical, sexual or verbal. This could result in a police report being filed if the charges are deemed to be of a serious nature.
A towel draping will be used to provide you with privacy during your massage: only the part of your body that the therapist is working on will be uncovered. For yoga massage you will be provided with loose-fitting clothing to wear.
If for any reason you are uncomfortable, please notify your therapist immediately. This includes requesting more or less pressure during your massage, or if you need a glass of water, a tissue, or a toilet break. If you would like to change the style of massage or length of session during your treatment, it’s important that you inform your therapist immediately and they will do their best to accommodate your request. You may be informed that change cannot be facilitated and/or will result in a higher fee.
Gift voucher – terms and conditions
Voucher is valid until the expiry date specified (one (1) year from date of purchase*) and cannot be redeemed or replaced after this date. Wellbeing Thai Massage by Orn & Anne is not responsible for lost / stolen vouchers, and is not responsible for replacing a voucher that has been lost / stolen. Voucher is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Voucher must be used in full in one visit: no change will be given. If the voucher is for a dollar value, you may use the voucher as part-payment towards a higher value service. If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, the voucher will be considered to have been redeemed in full.
*Wellbeing Thai Massage gift vouchers purchased prior to 18 November 2024 with a 3 month expiry will be honoured until 1 year after their purchase date. We no longer accept Beauty Progress gift vouchers.
Loyalty card – terms and conditions
To earn a stamp, the massage or package session must be charged at the full list price for that service or package. Stamps are only awarded for services or packages of 1 hour or greater. Only 1 stamp per appointment. A stamp is awarded at the conclusion of the appointment, once the fee has been paid in full. The reward is a 1 hour standard massage service free after 9 stamps have been collected. For the avoidance of doubt, the reward can be redeemed for 1 hour options listed in the “Standard massage treatments – full body” category of the online booking system. The following additional conditions apply:
- Stamps cannot be collected if the service or package is discounted including promo code discounts.
- Redemption of a reward is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
- Reward cannot be redeemed against gift cards or vouchers.
- Loyalty card cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Photocopies will not be accepted.
- It is not possible to merge the stamps and/or rewards from more than one card onto a single card.
- O & A Group Limited is not liable for lost, stolen or damaged cards.
- Cards may not be sold, exchanged or used for any other purpose, except as specified in these terms.
- O & A Group Limited reserves the right to refuse to accept a card which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or which otherwise is suspected to be affected by fraud, misconduct or unauthorised use.
- O & A Group Limited reserves the right to amend these terms at any time or withdraw the loyalty scheme on reasonable notice.
Social media giveaway – terms and conditions
By participating in any competition or giveaway (Competition) on the Wellbeing Thai Massage by Orn & Anne’s Facebook or Instagram (Social Media Channel), you confirm that you accept and agree to these terms and conditions.
The promoter is O & A Group Limited (we/us), which trades as Wellbeing Thai Massage by Orn & Anne. This competition is not in any way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with the Social Media Channel.
Entry is only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over, who have a valid Social Media Channel account to participate, and who comply with these terms and conditions.
Entry opens from the date of the Competition’s promotion post (Promotion Post) and closes at the date and time stated on the Promotion Post. Entries received outside the Promotional Period will be ineligible for entry. To enter you must do the following:
- Follow the entry instructions and meet all conditions detailed in the Promotion Post;
- Enter once per Competition per Social Media Channel unless stated otherwise.
Your entry must not be inappropriate, offensive, illegal or in breach of Meta rules or the rules of the relevant Social Media Channel. We reserve the right to remove anything posted to our Social Media Channels which we deem inappropriate, negative or offensive and to block users who post this content.
We reserve the right to verify the validity of each entry. We reserve the right to disqualify (i) entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions or (ii) any person for tampering with the entry process.
Winner(s) and Prize(s)
The number of winners will be specified on the Promotion Post. The winner(s) will be determined by random electronic draw or picked from the entry pool, as stated on the Promotion Post, on the date stated on the Promotion Post or, in the absence of such date, within 72 hours of the end of the Promotional Period (Draw Date).
Attempts will be made to notify the winner via the Social Media Channel’s messaging platform. If a winner wishes to claim their prize, the winner must reply to the communication and verify their eligibility to win under these terms and conditions within ten (10) working days of the Draw Date and provide their mailing address. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to meet these requirements within the deadline, a winner will be redrawn on the same terms as the original draw. This process will continue until a winner who meets the above requirements is able to be contacted.
O & A Group decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The prize is described in the Promotion Post. The prize may not be exchanged for cash. The winner must redeem the prize by booking the specified service at our premises at 1-171 Waltham Road, Christchurch. If the prize is a gift voucher, then our standard gift voucher terms and conditions also apply.
Exclusions and liability
To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting any rights entrants may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 in relation to the Competition, O & A Group and its related sponsors, companies, employees and agencies shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any entrant arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with entering this Competition or claiming/winning any prize.
O & A Group is not responsible for the transmission or receipt of any incorrect information associated with entries, either caused by user error or any equipment or programming malfunction associated with the Competition.
O & A Group is not responsible for any breach of these terms and conditions.
The Competition is only available in New Zealand.
Privacy policy and use of personal information
The prize winner’s name and nonspecific details may be used for promotional purposes in newsletters, website material and Social Media Channels. If they consent, the winner’s photo may also be used on promotional material. Such photo will be taken when they redeem the prize and consent will be sought at the time.
Any personal information collected by us through the Competition will be stored, used and disclosed in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (Privacy Act).
Entrants have the right to access their personal information pursuant to the Privacy Act, and can do so by contacting the us via email to info@wellbeingthaimassage.co.nz.
By entering this Competition, entrants consent to the use of their information as described above.
